Getting Started

How do I know what budget is right for me?

We'll recommend an approach based on your goals, timeline, and the amount of ongoing support you need. Whether you're looking for a one-time project or monthly design support, we'll help determine what makes the most sense.

What is the minimum commitment?

For ongoing retainers, our minimum commitment is three months.

One-time projects do not require a long-term commitment.

How does onboarding work?

Once we confirm the scope, we'll send over a proposal and gather any necessary information about your brand, goals, and priorities. From there, we'll establish communication preferences and begin scheduling work.

What if I don't have a clear direction yet?

That's fine. We use references and initial concepts to help define direction early, so you're not expected to come in with everything figured out.

What if I don't like the initial concepts?

We align on direction before designing. If needed, we'll recalibrate and adjust based on your feedback.

Pricing & Retainers

What is a creative retainer?

A creative retainer is an agreement between your business and our agency that allows you to contract for as few as 20 hours/month. A creative retainer locks in the amount of time we have reserved for you throughout the month at a fixed price, eliminating the overhead of hiring a full-time employee.

Why choose a creative retainer plan?

Priority. With a creative retainer, we reserve time exclusively for you during the month. Your projects are given priority over non-retainer clients.
Consistent & High Quality Work. With retainer based packages, you avoid the need to find available freelancers, conduct interviews, manage multiple contracts, and deal with project-based estimates and invoices. Our team will handle your projects and make sure quality and style stays consistent across all of your projects.
Simplify Your Accounting. Retainer plans make tracking your graphic design budget and invoice management easier. The amount you pay stays the same each month of your contract.
No employee overhead. You get professional design services without the overhead hiring a full-time employee.

What services are included?

All plans include the same design service options.

Retainer Packages Include:

Ad Design – display ads, banner ads, HTML5 ads, print ads, social media ads, and web ads
Digital Materials – social media graphics, blog banners and other web graphics/updates. social media graphics, blog banners, website updates, eBook covers and layout, promotional images, t-shirt designs, flyers, signage, brochures, press kits, direct mail
E-commerce Graphics – advertisements, web graphics
No-Code Email Design – design for emails and newsletters
Packaging Design – boxes, packaging, shipping materials (dielines must be provided by manufacturer)
Podcast Graphics – podcast covers, episode covers, etc
Presentation Design – presentations, pitch decks, and slideshows‍
Print Materials – business cards, brochures, direct mailers, event programs, flyers, one pagers, manuals, menus, sales sheets, signage, stationery, etc
Social Media Design – graphics for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.
UI/UX Design – mobile apps, landing pages, and websites
No-Code Web Development – for Squarespace, Webflow, Wix, and WordPress

What services are not included?

Creative retainers are intended for ongoing design support and do not include:

Audio editing
Video editing
Media buying or ad management
Advanced website or app development
Domains or web hosting
Client software subscriptions
Printing, manufacturing, or production services

Additional expenses such as stock photography, fonts, or other licensed assets are not included. If we anticipate any third-party costs, we'll discuss them with you in advance. Approved expenses will be billed separately.

What billing options do you offer?

We offer credit card billing or invoicing.

How do I choose the right retainer?

We'll recommend a monthly level based on the amount of work you expect and your turnaround requirements.

How will I know how my hours are being used?

You'll receive a monthly summary detailing the projects completed and the hours spent.

What if I don’t use my hours?

Retainer hours are reserved specifically for your business and do not roll over. This allows us to maintain availability and prioritize your work throughout the month.

Working Together

Do you work with agencies or white-label projects?

Yes. We regularly support agencies and can work behind the scenes if needed.

Can other designers or teams use what you create?

Yes. Everything is structured so it can be handed off and used consistently by internal teams, developers, or other designers.

Can you work with our developer?

Yes. For any projects that are designed in Figma and handed off to your developer, we're happy to collaborate during implementation.
